It has been a very busy week! The week began with the children attending a special assembly from TfL (Transport for London), where they told the children all about how to stay safe when getting buses, trains and tubes. It was very informative and all the children listened carefully and attentively. The children have completed both reading and SPaG mock papers this week, which we will be going through after the Easter break.
We also had inter-class sports this week, where the children took part in several games of hockey. The teachers were impressed with great sportsmanship and teamwork demonstrated by all the children! Congratulations to 6M who were the overall winners!
In maths this week, the children have been learning about ratio and proportion. They started the week by looking at diagrams and finding the ratio and proportion of certain colours/shapes/objects. The children then used this knowledge and applied it to scaling recipes. Finally, they completed a range of word problems involving ratio and proportion. Well done on a great week of maths!
